R Madhavan: I want to see Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan’s interpretation of Vikram Vedha – Times of India

Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan starrer Vikram Vedha’s teaser released recently. The film is the Hindi remake of the south hit by the same name that starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi. While Saif is reprising the role of Vikram, played by Madhavan, Hrithik is stepping into the shoes of Vedha, which was essayed by Vijay.

Madhavan who is currently basking in all the applause for his performance as an actor and director for Rocketry: The Nambi Effect had opened up to BT about the Hindi remake of his starrer. At the success bash of his last film, last month, the actor had said that he is quite excited to see how the film will be remade in Hindi.

When asked Madhavan if he would have liked to be a part of the remake too and he said, “It is very difficult for me to be a part of my own remakes. I am sure they (Hrithik and Saif) will do a brilliant job, they all are great actors and I am looking forward to seeing their interpretation of the film.”

In the past the actor had turned down an offer to be a part of the south remake of 3 Idiots too. He shared, “Yes, I said no to 3 Idiots remake. The reason is that I have done my role once and then it becomes very difficult to play the same thing all over again. I perform in the flow and then to analyze if I did as good as the original becomes too taxing for me.”
