R Balki hopes his segment in ‘Lust Stories 2’ starring Neena Gupta and Mrunal Thakur starts ‘commonsensical’ conversation surrounding sex | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, Kajol, Neena Gupta, Vijay Varma, Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi starrer ‘Lust Stories 2’ is set to release on June 29 on OTT. The anthology is directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sen Sharma and R Balki.
Her thoughts are neither progressive nor conservative; what she is saying is just common sense. According to him, there are many reasons why people get married, but the human reason is obvious.
Elaborating further, Balki added that his segment is from a person’s point of view and that he doesn’t differentiate between men and women. Fundamentally it is just a conversation, it is what I call a ‘U’ rated lust story, it is just simple as that. According to him, you can watch it with the whole family as it is a family lust story.
He went on to point out how one always thinks of lust stories as raunchy stuff. All that is also beautiful, but they just chose to do this because they felt it was their fun thing to do, to have a talk about things in most families, which they never have.
When asked whether portrayal of sex has changed in films over the years, Balki says he’s not sure if there has been any change at all.
