Quinn Ewers Texas debut win ‘spoiled’ for hilarious reason
While Quinn Ewers thrived in his Texas football debut, he got his car towed during the game.
Despite answering all of the Texas football program’s prayers, new starting quarterback Quinn Ewers still managed to get his car towed on Saturday evening…
While he was putting on a passing clinic vs. an overmatched ULM Warhawks team, the local police department remained undefeated. It did not matter that Ewers has the chance to be the best Longhorns quarterback since Vince Young, his car got impounded, probably because he parked it like an a*****e. It happens, but Ewers is not a freshman anymore. This is a total frosh move, bruh.
Texas annihilated ULM in its Week 1 home game 52-10, as Ewers completed 16-of-24 passes for 225 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in his Longhorns debut.
Quinn Ewers got his car towed during the middle of this Texas football debut
Ewers might be the big man on campus now, but Arch Manning is coming in January. Furthermore, Alabama is not going to be ULM next week, as it will take a herculean performance out of the carless Ewers to slay this Crimson Tide dragon. Though he can still play out of his mind carless, he cannot be careless with the football. Alabama is simply too loaded in the defensive backfield.
Besides figuring out what players in Alabama’s secondary he should avoid throwing the football to, it is imperative for Ewers to figure out where to park his car. Parking will be at a premium with ESPN’s College GameDay in Austin. Texas fans are passionate, but Alabama fans are about to stampede the state capital like the elephants they are. No truck, sedan or minivan will be safe…
What would be insanely funny is if Ewers started a new tradition at Texas football, one where the team’s starting quarterback just decides to park his car aimlessly and get it towed. If Alabama can smoke cigars after beating Tennessee senselessly ever Third Saturday in October and happily pay a fine, maybe this is what Texas boosters can do to counter this ahead of them joining the SEC?
Come to Texas where you can play quarterback and will never have to pay for a parking ticket!
