‘Qismat 2’ Box Office update: Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta’s film stands strong – Times of India

Despite the heavy rains, the Jagdeep Sidhu directorial ‘Qismat 2’ continued to show a strong game at the box office on Friday. According to the report of Box Office India, the collection on day 2 was a little higher than day 1. Though a drop was seen in some smaller centers, it didn’t affect the overall business of the film.

Also, usually, movies that release on Thursday, are expected to make a little less business on Friday. However, the Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta starrer managed to go up. Reportedly, the business in Delhi saw a rise of around 2 lakhs, making ‘Qismat 2 ’ the best performer in recent times in the city.

Now talking in pure numbers, on day 2, ‘Qismat 2’ collected 1.30 crore, leading to a sum total of over 2.5 crores. 96 lakhs alone were collected from Esat Punjab, in Delhi / UP the movie hit the mark of 30 lakhs while other places contributed around 4 lakhs.

‘Qismat’ has been able to make this business with the occupancy cap at the theatres. If the days would have been normal, there is no doubt that the number would have gone up to 1.50 crores instead of 1.30 crores.
