‘Pushpa’ star Allu Arjun to make his Hollywood superhero debut in a Marvel or DC movie? – Times of India

Allu Arjun may just be following in Dhanush’s footsteps and heading to Hollywood.

The actor, who has been on a high since the box office success of his film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, reportedly had a secret meeting with studio bosses to discuss his possible Hollywood entry. Reports state that the actor met with the big wigs while attending the recent India Day Parade in New York City.

Allu gained popularity around the globe with the success of his recent releases. His work on ‘Pushpa’ also left many ‘awestruck’, states a report on Pinkvilla that went on to add that the actor had a ‘hush-hush meeting for a Superhero franchise.’

If the rumours are true, then Allu Arjun will be the latest Indian star to feature in a Hollywood film. He may also be among the few Indian actors who feature in a superhero franchise.

Recently Farhan Akhtar made his MCU debut in the web series ‘Ms Marvel’. The series also formally inducted Shah Rukh Khan into the cinematic universe by mentioning him in the series.

Besides superheroes, actor Dhanush also made his Hollywood debut in the film ‘The Gray Man’ opposite Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. Alia Bhatt is also in line for her big debut in the film ‘Heart of Stone’ opposite Gal Gadot.

As far as Allu’s US trip is concerned, the Telugu star led the prestigious India Day Parade as its Grand Marshal. In a social media post, the actor thanked the Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, for having given him the honour.

Taking to Instagram, Allu Arjun wrote, “It was a pleasure meeting the Mayor of New York City. Very supportive gentleman. Thank You for the honour Mr Eric Adams. Thaggede Le!”

He also posted a series of pictures, including one that showed the mayor nailing the ‘Pushpa’ move.
