He wrote, ‘Special thanx to mohali police who caught the culprits who hit Alfaaz with a tempo traveller on road last nite @itsaslialfaaz is now out of danger too (sic).’

According to reports, Alfaaz was coming out of the dhaba after having dinner with his friends on Saturday night when a former employee of the dhaba named Vicky got into an argument with the dhaba owner. Vicky then asked Alfaaz to mediate in between to settle his dues with the dhaba owner but the singer refused.

The accused then reportedly tried to flee away with the owner’s tempo and rammed into Alfaaz while reversing the vehicle. Vicky, who is a resident of Raipur Rani was eventually arrested on October 3. An FIR has also been filed against Vicky and his accomplices in Mohali. The authorities have registered a case against the accused under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 279, 337, and 338 at the Sohana Police Station.

Honey Singh and Alfaaz have collaborated on songs such as ‘Haye Mera Dil’, ‘Bebo’, ‘Birthday Bash’, and ‘Yaar Bathere’.
