Supporters have been left fuming in recent weeks after their side surrendered a 2-0 aggregate lead against Real Madrid last month, resulting in elimination from the Champions League.

Pochettino continues to be linked with a move to Old Trafford, with Ajax boss Erik Ten Hag also in the running for the famous hotseat.

Former Manchester United star Teddy Sheringham has previously claimed the Argentinian is ‘made for United’.

PSG superstar Neymar was also booed by the PSG faithful as his name was called out over the tannoy before kick-off, but Lionel Messi’s name was cheered.

Neymar didn’t let the boos get the better of him and showed his class after netting a brace and helping his side to victory in the French capital.
