Producers of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ‘Haddi’, Sanjay Saha and Raadhika Nanda want to deliver messages of an inclusive society through film | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

The unveiling of Nawazuddin Siddiqui‘s first look as a transgender in the upcoming film ‘Haddi’ left the audience awe-inspired. Through their productions, Sanjay Saha and Raadhika Nanda wish to deliver quality-driven and thought-provoking cinema. The duo’s foray into film production with ‘Haddi’ is commendable, primarily due to the film’s groundbreaking subject. Speaking about their approach, Sanjay emphasizes, “Creating ‘Haddi’ was an honest effort to foster unity. The LGBTQ community faces challenges and discrimination due to their appearance. I aim to change that perspective and present them as an integral part of society. Through my films, I aspire to build a more inclusive society.”
Echoing similar sentiments, Raadhika adds, “I intend to portray the journeys of individuals who have catalyzed revolutionary changes and dedicated films to those who have contributed to making society a better place. I also aim to revive the excitement and nostalgia of traditional Bollywood romantic comedies, reigniting childhood romance in the hearts of viewers.”
Both Raadhika and Sanjay believe in the evolving sensibilities of today’s audience. Sanjay explains, “Audiences seek relatable content that they can connect with and experience firsthand. Films like ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ demonstrated the power of realism, inspiring viewers to believe that such experiences are attainable.”
Featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role ‘Haddi’ is set to release at the end of June.
