Priyanka Chopra reveals why she had big scale wedding with Nick Jonas – Times of India

Priyanka Chopra tied the knot to Nick Jonas in 2018. The couple had a quintessential Hindu wedding where PC was dressed in all red bridal wear. Post that, they also had a Catholic wedding keeping in mind Nick’s beliefs. She also opted to get married in India and Nick absolutely honoured that. It was a dreamy wedding in Umaid Bhawan in Jodhpur with close friends and family around. But the actress has now revealed the reason why she wanted a big fat wedding.
PC said that her wedding was intimate yet big scale because she never said she is subtle. She announced that that everything she does is big and that she is a bold person. While there were only 110 people attending her wedding, she wanted to get married in a palace with a 75 foot train! ‘Why not?’ said PC.
In a recent chat, the actress also revealed that Nick had the guts to slide into her DMs. While many boys have tried to do that, Nick was the only one who actually said, ‘Hey I’ve been told we should meet.’ Priyanka then googled him and Nick’s song ‘Close’ came up. The moment Priyanka saw it, she replied to him. She thought at that point, ‘That body deserves one date atleast,’ she laughed!
Priyanka’s series ‘Citadel’ has released on OTT a while ago and it’s getting a lot of love. Meanwhile, her film ‘Love Again’ also released recently. She has now begun working on ‘Heads Of State’. But fans are waiting for PC to start another Hindi film – ‘Jee Le Zaraa‘ with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
