Priyanka Chopra picks Alaya F as the Bollywood actress who deserves to be the next superstar – Times of India
While at first, Priyanka replied, “Alia Bhatt,” she corrected herself saying, that the actress was already a ‘superstar’. PeeCee then went on to name Alaya F and revealed why she thought the actress fit the bill.
“I really like Alaya Furniturewala, she is Pooja Bedi’s daughter,” the actress said and revealed, “I told her when I met her that I think she is just cool and has a unique perspective. She is not trying to be like everyone else. I think we’ll find out in a few years.”
During the interaction, she also revealed which Bollywood movie from her own filmography was her favourite. To this, Chopra replied, “Barfi” and said, “As a movie, it’s just so poignant and sweet, and the music is amazing. It just warms your heart, and that’s the kind of cinema that I love. It moves you. And I don’t really watch my movies myself, but that was one I have watched at least 2 or 3 times.”
Besides lining up a list of Hollywood films, the actress is also gearing up to make her Bollywood return with the film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ which also stars Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
