Global icon Priyanka Chopra has been in the news recently for her brutal honesty regarding her decision to quit Bollywood and move to Hollywood for greener pastures. The 40-year-old disclosed that the politics of B-town eventually got to her and she decided to explore projects in the West.

Priyanka, who became mother to baby girl Malti Marie via surrogacy last year, immensely enjoys motherhood and along with her husband Nick Jonas, is a hands on parent. Recently, the actor opened up on freezing her eggs and how the entire process is painful and extremely difficult.

In a recent podcast, Priyanka said that when she was in her early 30s, she decided to freeze her eggs. She added that she was filming Quantico at that time. The actor further revealed that the process is painful, and you have to give yourself injections over a month. Not only that, with the medicines, you get hormonal ups and downs, which makes you feel insane and bloated.

The actor however added that even with all these issues, the procedure is worth for women, who for whatever reasons, cannot have kids in their 30s. She also added that the process is fairly expensive, so one must save up for it.

Priyanka will soon be seen in the movie Love Again opposite Sam Heughan. Closer home, she is scheduled to star in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
