Priyanka Chopra Jonas to share screen space with John Cena and Idris Elba in their next film Heads Of State – Times of India
The movie will be directed by Ilya Naishuller and the script has been penned by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec. The initial draft was written by Harrison Query, according to Deadline. The plot of the film is being kept under wraps as of now.
Meanwhile, Priyanka is busy promoting her upcoming spy-thriller series Citadel where she will be seen sharing screen space with Richard Madden who is known for shows such as Game of Thrones and Bodyguard. It has been produced by Joe and Anthony Russo.
On Tuesday night, Priyanka and Richard had their first Asia Pacific premiere at Mumbai’s at PVR ICON, Palladium. Some of the biggest names from the Indian film industry such as veteran actor Rekha, Varun Dhawan, Raj & DK, Kabir Khan among several others walked the blue carpet.
The duo walked the blue carpet together. While Priyanka opted for a turquoise green Versace dress, Richard chose a charcoal black suit. He said it was an honour to work with Priyanka and he was happy that the show had its first premiere in India.
The movie will also act as the flagship show that will blend with local shows already under production in India and Italy, starring Matilda De Angelis, Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, respectively. Farzi creators Raj & DK are on board as directors and showrunners for the Indian installment.
