Priyanka Chopra in talks to play the lead in ‘Assume Nothing’ adaptation – Times of India
An OTT giant is working on a limited series adapted from Tanya Selvaratnam’s memoir ‘Assume Nothing’ and Priyanka Chopra is in talks to play the lead in it, reports Deadline. The actress will also be the executive producer for the project, under her banner Purple Pebble Pictures. In the book, Selvaratnam narrates the intimate abuse she faced while dating New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman – advocate for women’s rights, prosecutor of Harvey Weinstein, which eventually led to his downfall. Further casting details about his project are still under works.
Priyanka is awaiting the release of her romantic entertainer ‘Love Again’. She plays the lead in this Hollywood flick, co-starring Sam Heughan and Celine Dion. ‘Love Again’ is scheduled to hit the screens on May 12. While her web series ‘Citadel’, co-starring Richard Madden, is also gearing up for release this year. Soon, Priyanka will also begin the shooting of her next Bollywood film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’. Directed by Farhan Akhtar, this road trip drama also features Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.
