Priyanka Chopra hugs Karan Johar, duo get chatty with each other at the NMACC opening – Times of India

Priyanka Chopra’s shocking revelation about leaving Bollywood over dirty politics had sparked rumours about her alleged bad blood with Karan Johar. Several accusations were made against Karan by social media users who trolled the filmmaker for driving Priyanka away from the Hindi film industry. But it looks like it was all noise and no substance.
On Friday evening, many A-listers of Bollywood gathered for the grand inauguration of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) at the Jio World Gardens, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai. Among the celebrities, Priyanka and Karan were also seen arriving at the star-studded event.

While Priyanka came with her husband and pop singer Nick Jonas, Karan arrived solo. As the two were done with posing for the shutterbugs, Priyanka and Karan were seen getting chatty with each other. They exchanged pleasantries and even shared a warm hug. They had wide smiles on their faces.

Meanwhile, Karan had seemingly taken a dig at Kangana Ranaut. “The airport is a runway … it’s also a press conference …. Next it may be a trailer launch venue! ( I subscribe to it all… no complaints …but maybe nice to also catch a flight once in a while …. ),” he wrote on his Instagram stories.

On the other hand, Priyanka surprised everyone with her arrival in India along with Nick and their daughter Malti Marie. This was the first time that Priyanka and Nick were spotted with their baby daughter in the country since the little one’s birth.
