Priyanka Chopra hosts special screening of Oscar shortlisted ‘The Last Film Show’ (Chhello Show) at her LA home – Times of India

Pan Nalin’s The Last Film Show (Chhello Show) has given hope to India of bringing an Academy Award this year. Expressing support to the movie, Priyanka hosted a special screening of the same at her mansion in Los Angeles.

Producer David Dubinsky posted a series of pictures from their get-together at PC’s home, wherein the actress was also seen giving a speech about single screen theatres. “With Priyanka Chopra, actress, model, and producer (wife of Nick Jonas) at the movie screening and reception of Last Film Show, a coming of age drama of a boy from a remote village in India who discovers the joys of the movie theater just as digital projection changes the game. It is India’s submission to the Academy Awards and was just shortlisted in Best International feature film category,” Daving had shared. While ‘The Last Film ‘Show (Chhello Show) has marked its entry in the International Feature Film category shortlists for the 2023 Oscars, SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ has also made its presence felt in the list for its energetic song ‘Naatu Naatu’.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra will soon begin shooting for her next Bollywood film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’. Helmed by Farhan Akhtar, this road trip drama also stars Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.
