Priyamani, who will be next seen in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan, opened up about the time when she got the opportunity to do a song with SRK in Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express.
In a recent interview, Priyamani said that she was in Bangalore when she had received an unexpected call from Rohit Shetty’s office. Initially, she felt it might be a prank and asked her manager to verify the authenticity of the call.When it was confirmed, she found that it was for a song alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
She was overwhelmed by the chance of meeting SRK and in order to fulfill her lifelong dream, Priyamani eagerly travelled to Mumbai to visit the director’s office where she was warmly welcomed and explained the details of the song One Two Three Four.Sharing her experience, Priyamani said that Shah Rukh Khan was extremely sweet, very down to earth person, adding that he is the sweetest person alive. At one point, they had to do some particular steps repeatedly, SRK told Priyamani to sit down and he will do it. To which, Priyamani replied, “No, sir, I’m okay. I love dancing, so I don’t mind dancing how many times you want me to dance. I can dance, no issues at all.’
She further revealed that they did not just sit and chat but they played Kaun Banega Crorepati on his iPad and SRK gave her Rs 200 because her answers were right. She also praised SRK for his dedication at work and how he takes one of the assistants, go to the sets or maybe his room and they practice after pack up.
