Princess Charlotte’s Adorable Coronation Concert Dress Is From a Kate-Favorite Brand
On Saturday, the coronation of King Charles III drew some of the biggest names in entertainment, politics, high society, and the arts to London in order to bear witness to the historic ceremony. Yet one of the day’s most remarked-upon style moments came not from one of the A-listers in attendance, but rather Princess Charlotte, the eight-year-old daughter of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Her outfit delighted those watching the service from around the world—and not just for the sparkle of her floral headpiece or the delicate embroidery of her white Alexander McQueen cape and dress, but also in the thoughtful way it coordinated with the similar McQueen pieces worn by her mother.
Tonight, Princess Charlotte charmed viewers once again, as millions tuned in to see the Coronation Concert, held at Windsor Castle and featuring performers from Katy Perry to Lionel Richie in a more laid-back celebration of the weekend’s momentous significance.
Once again, her outfit was a Princess Kate favorite; more specifically, one of Kate’s favorite labels, Self-Portrait. (Kate herself wore a look by the label’s designer Han Chong on Friday, as she greeted international royals and dignitaries in town for the weekend’s celebrations at Buckingham Palace.)
