Though the crowds were delighted to see the 96-year-old monarch on the Buckingham Palace balcony, four-year-old Prince Louis, the youngest son of Prince William and Duchess Kate, emerged as the real star of the show.

As RAF planes and helicopters roared overhead in a special flypast, Prince Louis covered his ears and appeared to be screaming. His pictures from the moment immediately went viral, along with his adorable waving to the crowd and making funny faces.

After his appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony, he was later also clicked pulling off antics during the pageant event. As Louis pulled faces and ran up and down the Royal Box, Kate could be seen trying all her trusty parenting techniques to keep the little boy in check. Louis got all cheeky, sticking his tongue out at mum Kate and even putting his hand over her mouth when she tried to tell him off. William and Kate, who also share Prince George, eight, and Princess Charlotte, seven, ended the four days of celebrations on Monday by sharing a social media post, also acknowledging their 4-year-old’s scene-stealing antics.
