Premier League kits 2023-24: Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and the rest

The Premier League season has barely finished and already teams are starting to reveal their new kits for the 2023-24 campaign.

Teams like Liverpool and Crystal Palace were eager to get off the marks, wearing their new home kits in their final home games of the recent campaign.

The likes of Man City, Arsenal, Newcastle and Tottenham have also introduced their new home kits, and though so far there have been no surprises, you can surely expect to see a few when teams start revealing their away and third kits for the new season.

They can range from the bizarre to the beautiful and from the most basic to the most innovative, but it’s never dull waiting to see the latest kit releases. Fans of Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton Town will be particularly excited on their return to the Premier League.

Either way, Mail Sport will keep you up-to-date here over the summer with all the official match strip releases (and a few of the leaked ones) from every Premier League side.

Arsenal

The Gunners have released what they hope will be the lucky home and away kits that will lead them to their first Premier League title in two decades.

This season will mark 20 years since their famous Invincibles season, and the sleeves and club badge of their 2023-24 home kit have been updated with gold detailing to commemorate the championship-winning achievement.

Their away kit has an eye-catching yellow and black design, inspired by the club’s Islington roots.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa unveiled their new home kit in June as their controversial new sponsor was met with backlash from fans.

The Villains unveiled their new kit which has Asian betting firm BK8 branded on the front of their shirts, with the gambling company infamously axed by Norwich City as their sponsor in 2021 over sexually provocative advertising.

The home shirt has stuck to it’s traditional claret and blue roots while the new round redesigned badge, which was voted for by 21,000 fans.

Bournemouth

You may not be surprised to read that the Cherries’ new home kit is predominantly black and red stripes.

They’ve stuck with the club’s famous look for their new strip with Dominic Solanke among the stars posing in it recently.

Andoni Iraola has recently been installed as the club’s new manager after the shock sacking of Gary O’Neil, who led them to survival last season.

It is yet to be seen whether American owner Bill Foley will make any drastic changes to Bournemouth’s kits in what will be his first full-season in charge of the Cherries

Brentford

The Bees were comfortably the quickest team to reveal any of their kits for the 2023-24 season – albeit there is a technicality behind that fact.

That’s because they made the decision last summer to create an away kit to cover a two a two-season period, so that fans can get more life out of their kits and to reduce their carbon impact.

However, they have revealed their new Umbro home kit which will last for the duration of the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons.

Brighton

Brighton have released their new home kit for the season, as well as a delightful new away stro[ comprised of green stripes on a largely black jersey as they prepare for their first season in Europe.

The Seagulls will be looking to build on an incredible sixth place finish in the last campaign under Roberto De Zerbi.

Brighton often retain their away shirt to be deployed as their third kit the following season. So it’s possible their orange away kit from last season could be seen on the road again next season.

Burnley

Burnley have gone back to basics with their home kit on their return to the Premier League.

The Clarets ditched the digital-block design they had in their Championship-winning season to go with a claret base, along with a light blue collar and sleeves.

Their partnership with Classic Football Shirts as their kit sponsor was just a one-year deal, with gambling website W88 now taking front and centre on the new shirt.

Chelsea

Chelsea’s new home kit has been released without a front-of-shirt sponsor and the club has warned fans it won’t even be available to buy until after the season starts.

Mail Sport exclusively reported that they had failed to attract an appropriate commercial partner, becoming the first time a Big Six club to have no sponsor on the front of their shirt upon launch.

The classic blue strip has an iridescent gold badge that reflects the ‘prestige and history’ of the club, while the lack of logo is what really stands out. No away kit or third kit for the new season have yet been revealed.

Crystal Palace

The Eagles revealed their home kit at the end of the season, donning the shirts for the first time in their final game against Crystal Palace.

Their Macron home kit with red and blue halves was released early to mark the 10-year anniversary of their promotion to the Premier League.

For the away strip, the sash is back for the Eagles. Based on their ever-popular sash design from the 1970s, the shirt is white with a sky blue sash – harking back to the club’s origins from 1861.

There has been no confirmation or leaks for their third strip.

The new strip features a white collar for the first time in a decade, and Goodison Park’s famous Archibald Leitch pattern has been woven into it, as well as on the trim of the sleeves.

The 2023-24 season is set to Everton’s final full campaign at Goodison before they move into their new ground on the Bramley-Moore dock during the 2024-25 season.

Fulham

The  home kit for Fulham features a half-and-half three stripes scheme. The right side of the kit on the shoulder is red, with the left white.

Similarly to Brighton, Fulham have followed a pattern of relegating their away shirt to becoming the third kit the following season.

That means their bright teal and navy shirt of 2022-23 could make a return in certain games on the road.

Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp’s side became the first Premier League club to unveil their new kit for next season – wearing the shirt in their final home game against Aston Villa last month.

The kit features white accents to the collars and sleeves and it is inspired by the shirt worn by Bill Shankly’s legendary 1973-74 squad that lifted the FA Cup after beating Newcastle in the final. A 97 set between two eternal flames is printed on the back of the collar to honour those who lost their lives at the Hillsborough disaster.

Their leaked away kit has a very 90s-esque pattern in white and different shades of green. The third kit according to Footy Headlines is a ‘space purple’ colour. The last time they wore purple was during the 2018-19 season when they won the Champions League – a competition they won’t be playing in during the upcoming campaign.

From the retro design, kit manufacturers Nike have updated next season’s strip wioth a digital effect treatment layering tonal greens – green spark, poison green and pine green.

The kit is completed with black shorts and white socks with a black and green trim.

Designed by global sportswear giants Puma, the kit has taken inspiration from the standout navy blue kit worn during the club’s first campaign at the ground. The postcode of the stadium is  displayed on the back of its collar, while the kit is completed with a white V-neck, one identical to the same design used for the Etihad’s first kit, the 2003-04 home strip.

There has been no confirmation or leaks for either their away or third kits for next season as yet.
