Acer has launched its Predator Helios 500 laptop in India. This laptop sports an 11-gen Intel Core i9 processor and has a mini-LED display that supports 120Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with DTS:X Ultra sound and has Thunderbolt 4 ports for connectivity. Moreover, it comes with preloaded modes that offers a personalised performance experience. Acer Predator Helios 500 was first introduced in the US and is aimed towards gaming enthusiasts who are into high graphics games.

The Acer Predator Helios 500 was introduced in the US with a price tag of $2,499.99 (almost around 1,88,500). The same laptop has been launched in India with a price of Rs 3,79,999. This laptop will be available to purchase via the Acer Online Store, Acer Exclusive retail stores and other retail stores.
Acer Predator Helios 500 key specifications
Acer Predator Helios 500 sports a 17.3-inch 4K Mini LED screen that supports 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by an AUO AmLED technology. The laptop is powered by an 11th-gen Intel Core i9 chipset that uses up to 5.01GHz clock speed and has a 16GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 graphics unit. This laptop also packs a 64GB RAM and comes with 2TB SSD of internal storage.
Additionally, it comes with a Vortex Flow technology that uses cooling equipment that include a 5th-gen AeroBlade 3D Fan. This technology developed by Acer claims to help redirect the airflow to crucial components to boost performance during sessions of heavy gaming.
Acer has also included its PredatorSense tech on the laptop that can be used to personalise the light cluster and to customise the keyboard with the built-in per-key RGB backlighting. The Helios 500 even has the assembled WASD keys to work with Acer’s MagForce keys and has a MagTek mechanical switch that helps gamers transform normal functions of keypress into a joystick mechanism.
For connectivity, the Helios 500 has two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports with offline charging support, an HDMI 2.1 port, a mini-DP1.4 and an RJ45 port. It also comes with Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6, Intel Killer E3100 Ethernet Controller and Killer Intelligence Center for better experience.
