Prateik Babbar is enjoying a busy year and a working birthday today. Away from home, the actor is busy shooting in Rajasthan. Prateik is celebrating his special day at the place he absolutely loves, on the sets! “Currently, I am in Jaipur, shooting for my next project. We are running on a tight schedule right now. Meanwhile, I am also gearing up for the release of Cobalt Blue, which is due on 3rd December. So, I am very excited to have a working birthday this year with my team. To be honest, it feels very special. I would not have wanted it any other way.”

Son of seasoned actors Raj Babbar and Smita Patil, Prateik kicked off his career in Bollywood by working behind the camera. He was reportedly a production assistant and went on to face the camera for several commercials and marked his big screen debut with ‘Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na’ (2008). In the past one year, he ruled the OTT space with his performance in shows like ‘Four More Shots Please!’ and ‘Chakravyuh’. In the coming months, Prateik will be seen in several other web series.

Prateik has also signed up to play one of the leads in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘India Lockdown’. The film also stars Sai Tamhankar, Shweta Basu Prasad, Prakash Belawadi and Aahana Kumra in pivotal roles. ‘India Lockdown’ narrates the story of the coronavirus induced nationwide lockdown and the team recently wrapped the film’s shoot.
