Poonam Pandey is the first contestant on Kangana Ranaut’s controversial reality show Lock Upp – Times of India

Kangana Ranaut and Ekta Kapoor have come together again to host a controversial new reality show, Lock Upp for the OTT platforms ALT Balaji and MX Player. ETimes has learnt that actress Poonam Pandey is going to be the first contestant on the show. A source revealed, “Poonam is a top priority for the show’s team. She’s got the right balance of a bold and beautiful personality. And the fact that Poonam has been in the news for various controversies and her bold statements makes her the perfect fit for this show.”

At a recent event to announce the show, Kangana Ranaut had revealed that she’s going to up the ante with this new reality show. She had mentioned that the show’s format will allow an all-new level of controversial content. It will be interesting to see how far these controversies will go on the show. Censorship will also be a cause of concern, as OTT shows right now are outside the purview of a censorship authority, but talk has been on about the government wanting to regulate the OTT space, as well.

Poonam Pandey was in the news last year when she made a statement against Raj Kundra, as the latter was arrested in a pornography case. Poonam had alleged that she had filed a police complaint and a case in the Bombay Court in relation to an audition conducted with Kundra for an adult film. Apart from this, Poonam’s bold pictures and statements have always made news.

Apart from Poonam, there’s also been speculation around Sushmita Sen’s ex, Rohman Shawl and a host of other celebs to enter Kangana’s reality show.
