Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted a video of a young Punjabi singer Snehdeep Singh Kalsi singing the song ‘Kesariya’ in five different languages from the movie Brahmastra, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Snehdeep Singh Kalsi, a Mumbai-based singer, performed the song in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu. PM Modi on Friday shared the video on Twitter with an appreciation caption.

PM Modi’s post has over 279k views and is quickly going viral. Snehdeep performed the popular song from the film Brahmastra. Arijit Singh originally performed the song. Snehdeep captivated the internet by singing the lovely song in 5 languages.

Snehdeep recorded and uploaded this song in July 2022, dedicating it to his friends and ex-colleagues from Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
He stated in his post that he has wanted to cover the song since the teaser was released. After listening to the various versions in different languages, he said he ended up covering it in all five.

Kesariya was sung by Arijit Singh, and Pritam wrote the music for it. Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics.
