Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hailed India’s victory in a nail-biting match against Pakistan in T20 World Cup at Melbourne. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, the India team bagged a well-fought victory. Prime Minister also lauded Virat Kohli for his ‘spectacular’ innings and said he demonstrated remarkable tenacity. Mr Modi also extended his best wishes for the games ahead.

Home Minister Amit Shah has congratulated the Indian cricket team for its victory over Pakistan calling it a perfect way to start the T20 World Cup. He lauded Virat Kohli’s performance.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised the phenomenal effort by Team India against Pakistan in Melbourne. He said Virat Kohli played one of the finest innings of his life. He added that this victory has delighted all Indian cricket fans around the world.
