Pics: ‘Adipurush’ star Prabhas seeks divine intervention at Tirumala temple ahead of pre-release event | Telugu Movie News – Times of India
‘Adipurush,’ a pan-India release, is based on the epic Ramayana and has generated immense excitement among fans. Prabhas portrays the role of King Raghav, who, along with his wife Janaki (played by Kriti Sanon) and younger brother Laxman (played by Sunny Singh), is exiled to the forest for 14 years. The film explores their journey and the trials they face during this period.
The first trailer of ‘Adipurush’ was released some time ago, but it faced criticism for its poor visual effects. The production team took this feedback to heart and made significant improvements to the VFX. The upcoming pre-release event in Tirupati is expected to be a grand affair, with the release of the film’s second trailer, showcasing these enhanced visual effects to the audience.
In a recent announcement, the ‘Adipurush’ team revealed a unique gesture that will be implemented during the film’s screenings. To celebrate the beliefs of the people, one seat in every theatre will be left unsold and dedicated to Lord Hanuman, a prominent deity in the Ramayana. This decision pays homage to the tradition of Lord Hanuman appearing wherever the Ramayana is recited. The makers of Adipurush aim to foster a sense of reverence and respect for the great devotee of Lord Rama.
The statement from the production team reads, “Lord Hanuman appears wherever the Ramayana is recited. It is our belief. Respecting this belief, every theatre screening Prabhas’ Rama-starrer Adipurush will reserve one seat for Lord Hanuman without selling it. Hear the history of paying respects to the greatest devotee of Rama. We started this great work in an unknown way. We all must see the Adipurush built with great grandeur and grandeur in the presence of Lord Hanuman.”
‘Adipurush,’ directed by the talented filmmaker Om Raut, is set to release in theatres on June 16. The film will captivate audiences with its storytelling in five languages, namely Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. With Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdatta Nage in pivotal roles, Adipurush promises to be a cinematic spectacle.
The production of ‘Adipurush’ has faced numerous challenges throughout its journey, including controversies surrounding Saif Ali Khan’s comment about the character of Ravana being humane and criticism for its initial visual effects. Despite these hurdles, the film has persevered and is now set for a grand release across the globe.
