Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper takes off his SHOE and gifts it to a fan at Phoenix Airport
Kind-hearted Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper takes off his SHOE and gifts it to a fan at Phoenix Airport… leaving his wife in hysterics as she films him walking to the plane in his sock
Philadelphia Phillies’ two-time MVP right fielder Bryce Harper walked to his flight out of Phoenix on Monday wearing one shoe – after giving his other to a fan.
Harper and his wife were Kayla were walking to their flight when they were stopped by a fan who asked Harper for an autograph, however he was unable to find a sharpie in order to sign a hat for the fan.
Rather than turn the fan away disappointed and unhappy, Harper did the next best thing and found a pen to sign his shoe for the fan – creating an interesting piece of memorabilia.
‘I cannot take you seriously,’ Kayla told Harper in a video she posted to her Instagram story.
It was not the first time in recent days Harper has gone above and beyond after he was seen helping to start a ‘E-A-G-L-E-S’ chant started on the 16th hole of TPC Scottsdale as he watched the Phoenix Open.

He continued supporting his Philadelphia neighbors when he was seen with Ryan Garcia at State Farm Stadium.
The Eagles came up short in their championship game, much like the Phillies and Philadelphia Union, to see Philadelphia become the first city in history to lose three straight sports championships.
Harper hit .286 for 18 homeruns and 65 RBI in 370 regular season at-bats before reaching the postseason to hit .349 with six homers and 13 RBIs in 17 postseason games despite a lingering elbow injury.
He is currently recovering after having Tommy John surgery in the offseason to deal with the problem in his troublesome right elbow.
The seven-time all-star is expected is to return to the lineup by the all-star break and be back in the outfield by the end of the season, after having surgery in late November and not having played in the field since April 16th.
Once he returns he will have two new big additions in the lineup to help him and the team attempt to obtain a World Series trophy this time around after the Phillies multi-time all-star Trea Turner signed to a 11-year, $300 million deal in free agency, while they also inked former Mets starter Taijuan Walker.
