So first, enhance the natural shape of your eyes with a light eyeshadow and bring focus to your eyes by lining your eye with kohl and eyeliner. This will help you achieve the typical Bengali bright eye look. You can also opt for a light shimmer-based eye shadow for the extra festive look if you like. Finally, complete the look with classic red lipstick and a bold red bindi.
If you prefer attending the evening Puja, you can go heavier on the makeup. While you can keep the base makeup the same as the daytime look, select bolder colours like shimmery gold, copper or burgundy for your eyeshadow. Smokey eyes are prefered by many women when they have an evening of mandap hopping planned. Give your eyes a more significant bolder look by lining them well with eyeliner and kohl.
