Pathaan box office collection week 5: Shah Rukh Khan’s film becomes 25th Bollywood film on list of all-time blockbusters – Times of India
With all new releases struggling to rake in the big bucks and draw in viewers, the coast seems clear for ‘Pathaan’ this coming week, enabling it to extend its reign over the box office. Although there will be some competition at the box office over the Holi weekend, trade gurus predict a total estimated collection of around Rs 510-515 crore nett over the holiday period.
According to boxofficeindia.com, ‘Pathaan’ film has already set many benchmarks and broken several records in box office history books. It has reportedly also become only the 25th film in the history of Bollywood cinema to register itself on the list of all-time blockbusters. This, however, is without counting the three South Indian films – Chandralekha, Bahubali – The Conclusion and KGF2.
Although the film will not see footfalls like that of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Dangal’, it is still the best for a post-pandemic film.
‘Pathaan’ began its box office run with a record collection of Rs 347.75 crore. It added another Rs 90.25 crore on its second weekend and Rs 44.75 crore on its third weekend. The film’s fifth-week collection so far stands at an estimated Rs 5.55 crore nett.
