Pathaan box office collection Week 5: Shah Rukh Khan starrer earns total collection of Rs 505 crore – Times of India

At a time when all other Bollywood films are struggling to stay afloat at the box office, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ sailed through with an impressive collection of Rs 8.50 crore nett.
According to a report on boxofficeindia.com, the film’s total domestic collection now stands at an estimated Rs 505 crore nett. The film saw a drop of under 40% in collections, making it the best weekly trend since its release.

Reports state that the lower collections raked in by other films and the failure of films like ‘Shehzada’ and ‘Selfiee’, helped boost the numbers and ensure that ‘Pathaan’ enjoys a longer run at the box office.
Going by the numbers, the collections earned in its fifth week, make ‘Pathaan’ the seventh highest-earning Hindi film of all time. Its collections are also similar to that of Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ and Ajay Devgn’s 2022 release ‘Drishyam 2’.

With the Holi weekend just around the corner, trade experts predict another strong week at the box office. Going by the current trend, ‘Pathaan’ will likely beat the collections earned by ‘Bahubali – The Conclusion’ as it now sets its sights on the Rs 510 crore nett total. Depending on its performance during the extended Holi weekend, the film could even shoot past the Rs 515 crore nett mark.
