‘Pathaan’ box office collection: Shah Rukh Khan starrer races ahead with Rs 466 crore – Times of India

Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer ‘Pathaan’ is enjoying a glorious run at the box office. The film recorded a positive trend on Saturday and Sunday with a growth of around 40-45 percent in mass pockets, raking in Rs 28.75 crore nett on its third weekend.
‘Pathaan’ has scored a total of Rs 466.75 crore nett till now, reports boxofficeindia and looks like the film is heading for a 500 crore total. However, its uninterrupted run at the box office will soon be stopped by biggies like Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Shehzada’ and Hollywood film ‘Antman and The Wasp’, both of which will release on February 17.

At the press meet celebrating the success of ‘Pathaan’, leading lady Deepika Padukone had turned emotional. Speaking about the action entertainer, DP had said, “To be honest, I don’t think we set out to break records. We set out to make a good film. This is what SRK taught me in my first movie. He told me you should work with people who make you happy. It’s such a lovely atmosphere to work in and that’s what the audience is taking back. It’s pure, love and joy and it reflects and that’s what the audience is taking back. Whether it’s Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express – what makes it special is the relationship we share, the trust. I wouldn’t be here today, if it wasn’t for SRK and his vision for me. To shower me with so much love and grace. He has given me confidence and even he doesn’t know that. I do what I do because I know Shah Rukh will always be there for me.”
