‘Pathaan’ actor Rachel Ann Mullins reveals she didn’t know who Shah Rukh Khan was before working with him – Times of India

‘Pathaan’ marks Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback on the silver screen after four years of sabbatical. The film also marked the debut of Hollywood actor Rachel Ann Mullins. She plays the role of a Russian spy Alice in ‘Pathaan’.
In a recent interview with a news portal, the actress spoke about working with Shah Rukh Khan in her first Hindi film. Rachel revealed that she didn’t know anything about the scale of the film when she came on board. The actress also stated that when she saw Deepika Padukone’s name on wardrobe trunks, she knew it was something big. Rachel also called the Bollywood actress, ‘incredibly gorgeous’.

Talking about SRK, Rachel revealed that she didn’t know who he was before she worked with him. The actress further added that one of the assistant directors explained that he was a big deal. They had a nice day together. She even shares her birthday with Shah Rukh, Rachel told Hindustan Times.

Spilling some beans on the response she has been getting for the film, she said that she has gotten so much love because of it. The actress added that watching the response from fans the world over has left her with her jaw on the floor.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, ‘Pathaan’ starred Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles. The film minted a whopping Rs 100 crore on its opening day at the box office.
