Partow Celebrates the Brand’s 10-Year Anniversary With an Intimate Cocktail Party in the West Village

While the party was meant to celebrate the brand’s many accomplishments over the last 10 years, there was equal excitement for the future of Partow and its newest SS23 collection. For Partow, “the new collection, for me, is very much inspired by this sense of freedom. I was looking at these photographers whose work took them on these journeys—they were traveling all throughout Northern Africa and India. I was actually more intrigued by the photographer in terms of what that journey was like and so, what was exciting to me was this element of being able to throw something in a small suitcase and having the freedom to go on a journey. I started looking at the language of the fabrics, and everything was inspired by and very much developed off of that concept,” she says.

Inside the party, guests huddled around the mahogany bar, toasting the start of yet another New York Fashion Week, and snacked on small Italian bites of bruschetta and arancini. Several of Partow’s campaign stars from the last 10 years were in attendance, including Karen Elson, Rebecca Dayan, Iranian artist Shirin Neshat, and Guinevere Van Seenus, all of whom arrived in looks from the collection. Outside, models and muses posed for photos to commemorate the special evening.

Other brand friends such as models Ruby Aldridge, Wali, Sara Blomqvist, and Tricia Akello alongside Rickie de Sole, Isolde Brielmaier, Blake Abbie, Clara McGregor, Juliana Joel, Lia Chavez, Zach Weiss, Zanna Roberts Rassi, Alexia Niedzielski and Rita Nakouzi, amongst others were in attendance. 

The brand’s 10 year tenure was definitely due for a celebration and last night, celebrated it was.
