Parineeti Chopra on why she rejected Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal – Times of India

Parineeti Chopra is currently making waves with her recently released film Code Name Tiranga with Harrdy Sandhu. The actress will be next seen in Imtiaz Ali’s next. She was also initially a part of Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’. She then hopped out of Animal chose to sign the Imtiaz Ali film. Rashmika Mandanna then replaced Parineeti in the film.

In an interview with India Today, Parineeti opened up on why rejected the film. She shared that these things happen and it is a part and parcel of life and added it’s necessary to make these choices every day. She feels that it’s necessary to make the right choice for oneself.

When asked about she reflects on her journey, Parineeti shared that after working with directors like Ribhu Dasgupta and Dibakar Banerjee, she has found a place to show her mettle when things weren’t working out for her.

She further added that today when she sits down with a director or producer for a narration, it feels very different from what it used to be in her lowest time. “Honestly, it is all thanks to Dibakar and Ribbu who gave me roles when people did not think I could. I hold on to that. Later is the bigger dream of collections and success.”

‘Code Name Tiranga’ is currently running on theatres.
