Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are now officially engaged | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha finally got engaged in a private ceremony on Saturday. The ceremony was attended by around 150 guests including family members and political leaders. Both Raghav and Parineeti shared the news with their fans and also posted their first-ever engagement pictures on their Instagram pages.
“Everything I prayed for .. She said yes!” wrote the 34-year-old Rajya Sabha MP.

For the special occasion, Raghav wore an ivory achkan from his uncle, designer Pawan Sachdeva‘s collection, while Parineeti, 34, opted for a pastel peach dress by Manish Malhotra.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas, cousin of Parineeti, also made a stunning appearance after the engagement ceremony. She was looking resplendent in her dramatic yellow saree paired with a corset blouse. She was seen posing with her brother Siddharth Chopra and Parineeti’s father Pawan Chopra.
The guests also included Congress leader P Chidambaram, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray and Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Derek O’Brien, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Congress leader Kapil Sibal among others.

The ceremony kick-started at 5 in the evening as per Sikh rituals with a Sukhmani Sahib Path followed by Ardas at 6 pm.
Rumours of the Rajya Sabha MP and Chopra’s wedding started in March after they were spotted together in Mumbai. The duo reached Delhi on Tuesday for the engagement.
On the eve of their engagement, Chopra’s Mumbai home and Chadha’s government residence in Delhi were decorated with lights and flowers.
