Dressed in a olive green ensemble, Shaheen looked ever bit in the festive mood with a golden clutch and footwear. She kept her hair loose in curls and her make up was minimalistic.

The author and screenwriter was recently in the news for defending sister Alia over accusations of getting pregnant before her wedding. Shaheen was of the opinion that it is Ranbir and Alia’s personal journey and a tremendously happy moment for the whole family, hence no one should really pay heed to such accusations – a positive space for the would be parents is all that they wish to create, sans any negativity.

Shaheen, who has lived with Depression almost all her life has also authored a book “I’ve never been (Un) happier” in which she opens up about her struggles. She believes that when it comes to Depression, everyone’s journey is different and what worked for her might not work for someone else.
