Pankaj Tripathi talks about his memories related to ‘Chhath Puja’ – Times of India
Pankaj said that this festival is a way to preserve nature, in an interview with Hindustan Times. He added that we worship the sun during this Puja and the nature needs water and sunlight to survive. Hence, this Puja teaches us to respect and preserve nature and teach the same to out kids, he added.
The actor also recalls his memory with the Puja. He said that everyone in the village would share their crops with each other – from fruits to grains. Back then, he would also wait for new clothes and help in cleaning the house for the Puja. He would remind his tailor to get his clothes made because at that time, readymade clothes weren’t in trend. Growing up, he would also participate in the plays in his hometown during the festival. Pankaj still cherishes those old times and memories.
The actor was last seen in the new season of ‘Criminal Justice’ on OTT, which got a lot of love. The actor will be seen next in ‘OMG Oh My God 2’.
