‘Pakka Commercial’ box-office collections Day 2: Gopichand, Raashii Khanna’s film earns Rs 10.5 crore, off to a promising start – Times of India

The film, written and directed by Maruthi, is the story of a money-minded hotshot lawyer who locks horns with ex-judge father in a case involving the person because of whom the judge had to resign. Raashii Khanna, Sathyaraj, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, Ajay Ghosh, Kiran Talasila, Saptagiri, Sai Krishna and Ramana Reddy also star in the movie.

The film opened as per expectations and is now going steady. It needs strong word-of-mouth to continue collecting decent money as its reviews are mostly mixed. The film is jointly produced by UV Creations and GA2 Pictures. The technical crew comprises Karm Chawla as cinematographer, while Jakes Bejoy enhances is on board as the music composer. SB Uddhav has been roped in as the editor for the project.

Gopichand will be next seen in his 30th film to be directed by Sriwass, known for helming “Lakshaym” and “Loukyam” that were received well. The upcoming film will mark their third time collaboration, and the yet-to-be-titled film is said to be based in Kolkata. Story written by Bhupathi Raja, it will be a big-budget film bankrolled by People Media Factory.
