Orhan Awatramani was one amongst the many influencers and celebrities who made their presence felt at the London premiere of ‘Barbie‘. He recently invited the wrath of the netizens after he failed to recognise Academy Award-winning Mexican director Alfonso Cuaron.
Banita Sandhu, who also attended the event, took to her Instagramhandle to share some lovely pictures from the event.In one of the pictures, she is seen posing with Cuaron.

Dressed in a pink blazer, Banita is seen striking a pose with the ace filmmaker at the event. She captioned the post, ‘Everything’, followed by heart emojis.

As soon as she shared the pictures, likes and comments poured in from all sides. Orhan took to the comment section and asked, ‘Who is the old man(sic)’. A social media user replied to his comments and wrote, ‘@orry1 Oscar winning director, you can watch his films when you have time off from working on yourself’. He responded to him by saying, ‘@cartayblanchay I don’t like old people.’

Alfonso Cuaron has 11 Academy Award nominations to his credit, out of which he has won four of them. This includes Best Director Award for his films, Gravity and Roma. He also won British Academy Film Awards, Critics’ Choice Awards, Golden Globe Awards, BAFTA Awards among many other titles.
