oneplus: OnePlus spotted on OnePlus Care app, expected to launch in India soon – Times of India

NEW DELHI: OnePlus is said to launch the OnePlus 9RT smartphone in India soon. The smartphone is rumored to launch with a different name in India. Likely to be called the OnePlus RT, the device is the successor of the company’s most affordable OnePlus 9 series smartphone, the OnePlus 9R, which was launched in April this year. The yet-to-launch smartphone once again appeared online on a new listing.
According to popular tipster Mukul Sharma, the upcoming OnePlus RT was spotted on the OnePlus Care app in India. For those unaware, the OnePlus 9RT was launched in China in October this year. The Indian variant of the smartphone is said to come with the same set of specifications as the Chinese version. The smartphone is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and is expected to house a 6.62-inch AMOLED display.
Apart from this, Mukul Sharma also spotted an advertisement on Google Search results which suggest that the company will soon launch the smartphone in India. As per the advertisement, the smartphone will be available online on Amazon like all other OnePlus handsets.
OnePlus RT specifications (OnePlus 9RT Chinese variant)
OnePlus RT features a 6.6-inch FHD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display gets 1300 nits of peak brightness and up to 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. The smartphone with 5nm chipset comes in three variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage and 12GB + 256GB internal storage variant.
When it comes to camera, the OnePlus RT gets a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS. The primary lens is joined by a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The camera setup also gets dual-LED flash. The triple camera setup is said to offer hybrid focus and 4K video recording.
In terms of selfie camera, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera with an f/2.4 lens. The front camera also gets electronic image stabilization. At the battery front, the device houses a 4500mAh dual-cell battery that supports 65W fast charging.
