Oneplus: OnePlus foldable teased, coming later this year – Times of India

OnePlus announced a slew of new products at its Cloud11 event – the OnePlus 11, 11R, Buds Pro 2, Buds Pro 2R, its first-ever tablet, the OnePlus Pad – among others. But there was one more thing, the much-rumoured foldable smartphone of OnePlus. Although it was not announced, we know when to expect it.
At the end of its keynote, OnePlus showed what seems to be the rumoured foldable smartphone, which will be coming out in Q3 of 2023, sometime between July to October.
OnePlus has long been rumoured to release foldable smartphones, two of which are a flip and a fold style foldable. If rumours are to be believed, the two foldables could be known as OnePlus V Fold and OnePlus V Flip.
Oppo is also expected to bring their foldables – Find N2 and Find N2 Flip – out of China to international markets soon.
OnePlus’ foldable smartphone could share similarities with Oppo’s Find N2 series
Not much is known about the foldables, but these two could be very well similar to Oppo’s Find N2 and Find N2 Flip. So, one can expect a similar design as the two for OnePlus foldables with the same lot of features. Since OnePlus and Oppo share the same R&D resources, it would not be a huge surprise if OnePlus’ foldables end up being the same.
OnePlus teased its foldable at the end of the India keynote, which could be a subtle hint that the foldable might have a limited release in some of its markets, primarily India. At the same time, Oppo could launch its foldable smartphones in Europe and other markets.
OnePlus launched the OnePlus 11, Buds 2 Pro, and the OnePlus Pad in the international market. Meanwhile in India, the Chinese manufacturer introduced the OnePlus 11R, the rebadged OnePlus Ace 2, Buds Pro 2R, TV 65 Q2 Pro, Keyboard 81 Pro, and Hub 5G Router.
Moreover, OnePlus has also announced the OnePlus 11 Concept, which will be showcased at Mobile World Congress later this month.
