OnePlus Nord, OnePlus Nord CE receive new OxygenOS update: Details inside – Times of India
OnePlus has released two software updates for its affordable range of smartphones — OnePlus Nord and Nord CE. The smartphone maker has released the OxygenOS 11.1.5.5 update for the original OnePlus Nord smartphone in all the regions. The update comes with build number AC01DA for India, AC01AA for North America and AC01BA for Europe.
The update also brings along the security patch for the month of August 2021. The update also brings improved system stability and few other new features. With this latest update, the OnePlus Nord users will be able to experience new features like Ambient Display, screenshot functionality and a Bitmoji AOD which the company has co-developed with Snapchat.
The company has said the new Bitmoji avatar will also appear on the ambient display. The company also advises users to have at least 30% battery in their smartphone and 3GB of free storage before downloading the update.
On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord CE is receiving OxygenOS 11.0.6.6 with build number EB13DA for India, EB13BA for Europe, and EB13AA for North America. The company claims that the new software update promises to improve system performance and brings security patches for the month of July. This latest update also upgrades the Google Mobile Services version 2021.06 and optimizes camera effects to take better pictures.
OnePlus has also confirmed that it is an incremental update and is presently being rolled out to a limited number of users and the broader rollout will happen in a few days.
