OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro to be available via invite
The OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro is up for sale in the US, Canada and Europe. However, customers in India will only be able to purchase the keyboard via invite. Customers in India should have an invitation code to purchase the OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro. To get the invitation code you will have to keep a check on official OnePlus campaigns, community and media channels. The OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro is priced at Rs 17,999 and it comes in two colour options — Winter Bonfire and Summer Breeze.
OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro features
The Keyboard 81 Pro draws inspiration from the Keychron Q1 Pro, featuring an 81-key layout. However, OnePlus has added its unique flair, with stylish red and white accents, a CNC-machined aluminium frame, and the iconic alert slider found in OnePlus phones.
Delivering an exceptional typing experience, the keyboard boasts OnePlus’ specially engineered “marble-mellow” keycaps, designed for extended keystroke longevity and enhanced tactile feedback. What’s more, these hot-swappable keycaps enable effortless customization for users who desire different options.
To cater to even the most intense scenarios, OnePlus has developed its own custom switches with a tactile peak point of 0.5mm, ensuring optimal typing performance. Users can choose between the “Winter Bonfire” switch, known for its exceptional tactility, or the “Summer Breeze” switch, designed for quieter operation.
Personalisation is at the core of the Keyboard 81 Pro’s design, as it offers customizable RGB lighting, allowing users to create a visual experience that suits their style perfectly. Moreover, the keyboard supports open-source firmware like QMK and VIA, granting users the freedom to remap keys and customize RGB effects without the need for firmware re-flashing.
Powering this impressive keyboard is a robust 4000mAh battery, delivering up to 100 hours of usage with RGB lighting active. This ensures that you can enjoy extended periods of seamless typing without the worry of frequent recharging.
