After getting the audience excited for ‘OMG 2‘ with teaser posters, Akshay Kumar has finally unveiled the much-awaited teaser of the film, exactly a month before its release and it is definitely worth the wait!

The sequel of the cult-classic ‘OMG! Oh My God’ stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautamin lead roles. After portraying the character of Lord Krishna in the first part, the Khiladi Star will be seen sporting Shiva’s avatar in the film.
Akshay Kumar’s Lord Shiva avatar from Oh My God 2 has received mixed response on social media. While his fans are impressed with Akshay’s look, a section of the internet warned the Bollywood actor. While the original film, explored the theme of faith and religion, the sequel will reportedly shed light on a social challenge.

It also stars Govind Namdev, who played an agitated sadhu in the first part. While that part also starred Paresh Rawal and Mithun Chakraborty, the sequel is based on a new storyline with new characters essayed by Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi. Arun Govil, who played Rama in Ramanand Sagar’s TV series Ramayan, is also a part of OMG 2 and will be seen reprising the iconic role of Lord Rama.

The above teaser of the film will be attached to Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 releasing July 12.

The film will be locking horns with Sunny Deol starrer ‘Gadar 2’ at the box office. Earlier, even Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ starring Ranbir Kapoor was supposed to release on the same date. However, the makers then moved the release date to December, owing to its pending VFX works.
‘OMG 2’ will hit the theatres on August 11.
