The thriller-mystery movie’s plot is set in a 1950s era where Jack (Styles) and Alice (Pugh) are playing the roles of “made for each other” type of couple.
Jack goes off to work daily with the other men, leaving Alice home to clean and cook for him. He comes home exhausted at the end of the day, often too tired to do anything. Alice cooks for him and takes care of him.
The entire plot is set across a picture-perfect couple who is living their life with love and compassion.
But there’s a twist! She’s becoming frustrated with their fantasy life as she notices that there are a few things that don’t quite add up. After that, a chain of events takes place, and we hope there’s a happy ending.
