SRK had received immense appreciation from all quarters for his role and performance in the film. However, did you know that the superstar was actually not the first choice for the role in the film?

Yes, you read that right! The film’s leading lady, Juhi recently graced Kapil Sharma’s comedy chat show where she spoke about a variety of things. On the show, she revealed that it was not Shah Rukh but late actor Dara Singh who was the first choice for the role in the film.

Shah Rukh played the role of an obsessed lover in the film. The movie also received positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Juhi will next be seen in ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ which also stars Rishi Kapoor in the lead role. The film marks the late actor’s last film before his sudden demise. He was shooting for the film when his health took a turn for the worse and he unfortunately passed away before he could finish the movie.

The makers have kept his part intact and roped in Paresh Rawal for the remaining parts of the film.

Shah Rukh, on the other hand, will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’ where he will be seen collaborating with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.

The superstar is also a part of Atlee’s commercial entertainer and has Rajkumar Hirani’s immigration drama in his pipeline.
