Noise manufactured more than 1 million smartwatches in India – Times of India

Domestic wearable manufacturer Noise has announced its new Make in India milestone of making over one million smartwatches locally in the month of May. Starting from January this year, Noise made a significant stride towards their goal by localizing more than 90% of their smartwatches. As the first homegrown brand to undertake smart wearables production in India, Noise has successfully shipped over 3 million made-in-India smartwatches.
Here’s what the company said
Commenting on the milestone, Amit Khatri, Co-Founder, Noise, said, “Our unwavering commitment to the Make in India initiative fills us with immense pride. Consequently, achieving the manufacturing milestone of over a million smartwatches in a month in India holds great significance for us. This remarkable feat is a clear demonstration of our deep-rooted dedication and understanding of the India market. This landmark is yet another testimony to our relentless pursuit of making India self-reliant and nurturing the ethos of the Make in India movement.”
Despite operating in a well-funded ecosystem predominantly dominated by global players, Noise has emerged as a triumphant homegrown brand and has played a pivotal role in shaping the smart wearable and hearable industry in India. With revenues surpassing INR 2000 crores, Noise stands as the most profitable bootstrapped direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand.
Noise recently launched the ColorFit Quad Call smartwatch in India. The affordable smartwatch sports a small square dial and it supports Bluetooth calling. The wearable comes with Noise Health Suite and it promises to offer up to 7 days of battery backup on a single charge. The Noise ColorFit Quad Call comes with a price tag of Rs 1,499 and it can be purchased in Jet Black, Space Blue, Rose Pink, silver, grey and Deep Wine colour options. The smartwatch can be purchased online from Amazon.in and gonoise.com.
