India and Hollywood’s VFX expert, producer Namit Malhotrais assembling a team of best VFX and filmmaking talents up to produce Ramayana.A source informed ETimes, “It will be made on a massive scale, with completely new, hig-octane visuals. Namit andNitesh are employing state of the art equipments, techniques and effects for their ambitious project. It’s going to be one of the largest teams of qualified professionals from across the world, and they will all be working under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari. The plan is to have a grand VFX team, the biggest cast, and mega sets. That’s how Nitesh has envisioned to create the world of Ramayana.”
Nitesh Tiwari and Namit Malhotra want to make sure the visuals and the scale of the film match up to the mythological epic. The source further revealed, “Ramayana is going to be one of the biggest films to come out of India and is backed by one of the prominent visual effect companies of the world. Nitesh Tiwari is working full-fledged towards his visions and he’s working round the clock. He is assembling one of the biggest casts ever to have come on the Indian screen.”
Namit Malhotra was one of the producers and the creative forces behind Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. His VFX company Double Negative has created the VFX for Oscar winning movies like Dune and Tenet. With his expertise, the visuals of Ramayana promise to have the big-ticket feel for sure. The shoot of the film is slated to begin, later this year.
