New COVID norms for international passengers; check updated rules here
According to a previous announcement by the Ministry of Health, 2% of passengers flying on foreign routes would be subjected to random sample tests at the airport in India. Mumbai International Airport, Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, and Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi began the random sampling in accordance with the rules.
The Covid-19 test will be required for 2% of all overseas arrivals at Indian airports, according to the Health Ministry. At airports in India, the testing of all such travellers has started today. Airlines are required to select 2% of each flight’s passengers for a random sample at all international airports for travellers from different nations. However, a select few nations have been identified as being more risky than others, and travellers from these nations will undergo further testing.
Nations in the “red zone”
In addition to the 2 percent random sample, passengers arriving from China, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, and Hong Kong must also submit to extra testing and follow the prescribed method.
Air Suvidha form required
Filling out an Air Suvidha form before travelling from one of the aforementioned overseas locations is now required by the Indian government. Action has been taken to stop the virus from spreading across the country. The forms serve as a self-declaration of the health state of international travellers.

At the same time, Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Health Minister, mandated RT-PCR tests for all travellers entering from the aforementioned nations. Passengers who test positive or exhibit symptoms will be quarantined.
