Neuron7.ai raises $4.2 million as seed funding from Nexus, others
Early backers of and advisers to the company include Qualcomm CFO Akash Palkhiwala, Neudesic Global Services CEO Ashish Agarwal, Amazon Podcasts GM Kintan Brahmbhatt, and Five9’s Anand Chandrasekaran.
The San Jose, California-based company plans to use the funding to expand its engineering, product and sales teams. Abhishek Sharma, managing director at Nexus Venture Partners, will join the company’s board.
Founded in 2020 by second-time entrepreneurs Niken Patel and Vinay Saini, Neuron7.ai helps drive the transformation of customer services into a cloud-based AI-powered workflow, particularly for companies managing complex products in technology, manufacturing and healthcare sectors.
“AI-driven diagnostics and resolution predictions are just the start. Our vision is that service decisions at scale within a company are accurately taken via a service intelligence system of record,” said Patel, who is also the chief executive of the company. “We plan to expand our team in India and will look to onboard people with core product development capabilities and beef up our AI/NLP teams.”
In stealth mode, Neuron7.ai tested the product with multiple Fortune 1000 firms and saw results across multiple industry datasets. The company now plans to sell its product to all BPO/IT services companies in India.

“Our point of view is that service intelligence solutions are going to be massively successful when they are industry specific. Or even specific to a device or machine,” said Amit Verma, head of engineering at Neuron7.ai.
