After the trailer of Tom Cruise starrer Mission Impossible 7 was released, people started comparing its daredevil action sequences with Pathaan. While some people believed that Tom Cruise copied his stunts from Pathaan, some said that Bollywood should be proud that a popular Hollywood franchise has taken some inspiration.
“A few days ago, I saw the whole twitter making fun of #Pathaan train scene just because it accidentally has similarity with Jackie Chan cartoon. But now that #MissionImpossible also has similar action scenes, nobody will say anything,” one Twitter user wrote.
Another Twitter user commented, “So now, according to Jodhpur union of #SalmanKhan, it can be safely said that #MissionImpossible7 has copied scenes from mega blockbuster #Pathaan. #ShahRukhKhan leads the way, the world follows it.”
In addition to Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Czerny, Vanessa Kirby and Frederick Schmidt will be reprising their roles from previous Mission: Impossible films. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One also stars series newcomers Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Cary Elwes, Rob Delaney, Indira Varma, Shea Whigham, Mark Gatiss, Esai Morales and Charles Parnell. The movie will be out in theatres on July 12.
